About Us

Meet Casey Shroyer
With Post–Moderne, Casey Shroyer is dedicated to creating home interiors that inspire people daily. His vision is that these uniquely curated spaces will spark conversation while maintaining both function and comfort. He is inspired by the sinuous lines and feminine features of the art deco movement and incorporating heirloom antique pieces with contemporary lines and accessories, catering specifically to each client’s style.
Casey grew up watching TLC’s Trading Spaces, which ignited his pursuit of a career in interior design. He was fascinated by the nontraditional ways in which designers transformed spaces. Casey received a BFA in Interior Design and a BA in Art & Design from Iowa State University in 2013.
During college, he was known as “textures guy” for his skill at pairing a variety of fabrics, finishes and colors to add warmth and balance to his designs. His career has allowed him to work with Anastasia Design Group and Mrs. Howard. In 2018, he struck out to create his own design firm, and Post–Moderne was born.
Today, Casey enjoys connecting with each client on a level deeper than design. Building a genuine relationship with his customers helps him understand how their space can best reflect who they are. His ability to be raw and vulnerable with clients encourages them to do the same, and together they can create the one-of-a-kind, elevated interiors Post–Moderne is known for.
